You are definitely not in this alone. We are in this fight together.
You being a good friend and a good person will always put people off because it unknowingly makes their shortcomings as a person and as a friend so much more obvious by comparison.
Some people are strong enough to gain power from your light, but to others, your light shines brightly on their inadequacies.
They’ll get over it. You don’t owe them anything for being strong, or beautiful, or courageous. This is your life and their biggest fear is that you will live up to all you could be. Shine on.
And when it’s hard to shine, and they pull you down, I’ll be here. The strong have to stick together because there will always be the weak that want to hitch a ride.
